Efficiency
Menu Routing directs your customers to the most relevant personnel, reducing the need to transfer calls around the office or the country. Customised announcements assist your callers in choosing a destination.
Percentage Call Distribution helps to route your calls to where you have the resources available to handle them. Your workload can be shared between multiple locations as you can allocate a percentage of calls to different terminating numbers.
Originating Number Routing guarantees your most valued customers are routed through to the most appropriate destination. You determine which number your high value customers will terminate on, based on their incoming phone number.
Extension Routing ensures your customers are directed to the person best suited to their query. It has the ability to recognise a valid extension by a caller and proceed to that extension.
Number Look up and Translation allows you to give easy extensions to your customers and ensures they are terminated to the appropriate destination. It is similar to extension routing but translations can be further manipulated through look-up tables. For example, the input could be the department number 5555 and this could be translated to the DDI for the department such as 09 123 4567.
Toll Free Notification plays a quick beep, so that you know your incoming call is Toll Free.
Control
Call Screening will assist with cost reduction by ensuring your time is not wasted dealing with nuisance callers. You decide which numbers to treat differently i.e. block mobile phones or restrict certain numbers or regions.
Pre-Announcement screens out unwanted callers if they have misdialled, or encourages your callers to make sure they have the necessary information before their call is presented. Your caller will hear a pre-recorded message and then decide to end the call or continue.
Confidential PIN restricts access to your Toll Free number by requiring callers to enter a valid PIN before their call is connected. This is great for security and stops abuse of your Toll Free number.
Access Codes save you administration time and allow you to determine who can call your Toll Free number, and the reason for their call. Callers are prompted to enter a valid access code before their calls are connected. A report summarising the call data for each access code is then displayed on your bill.
